The games room was a hit, with pool tables and table tennis. The bathroom had cleaning issues, and our room was noisy at times. Conveniently close to Pier 39.

The outdoor games and fire pits were a hit, especially for families. Our room felt a bit cramped, and A/C was noisy. Plenty of fun in the game room with billiards and table tennis.

The garden area was a lovely escape, perfect for enjoying sunny afternoons. I absolutely loved the cozy s'mores kit—such a fun touch for both kids and adults! Plus, the friendly staff made us feel right at home with their warm smiles and accommodating service.

Can recommend ❤️😊

Great coffee in the room made mornings special! The cozy courtyard with fire pits was perfect for evening relaxation.

It wasn’t inexpensive, but worth it for the experience!

Hotel Zephyr dazzled us with its prime location near Pier 39 and other attractions. Our daughters adored the game room and s'mores kits, while the staff exceeded our expectations with exceptional service. The comfortable beds and lovely bathroom lighting made our stay all the more delightful. Highly recommend!

The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the AC kept the space nice and chilly. Beautiful views from spacious windows added to the comfort. the bathroom had issues; the bathtub was plugged, and the makeup mirror felt unstable. The closet door was off track, and the balcony slider was difficult to open. The decor mimicked a ship, which was charming, but the recreational room was too dark due to burnt-out bulbs, making it hard to enjoy games.

The parking was outrageous at $70 a day! Our room felt old and neglected—peeling wallpaper, a broken lamp hanging dangerously over the bed, and the bathroom door didn’t even lock. For what we paid, it was a total letdown.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Wharf and Pier 39; perfect for families. The courtyard and game room are fun for kids. the room left much to be desired. It felt dated, with peeling wallpaper and a shoddy shower. Check-in was frustrating; I waited over four hours for my room, despite an early request. Hidden fees and a hefty parking charge stung on checkout. Some staff were helpful, but the indifferent attitude from others was disappointing. A mixed bag that left me questioning whether I'd return again.

We had a bit of a mixed experience with the facilities. The room was equipped with a flat-screen TV, which was nice for winding down in the evening. the heating in the room seemed a bit inconsistent, and we found ourselves either too warm or too cold at times. The carpeted floors added a cozy feel, but we did notice some wear and tear in the room decor, like scratched-up walls and a bathroom door that didn't lock properly. On the upside, housekeeping did a great job of keeping the room clean and tidy throughout our stay. The free toiletries provided were a nice touch, although it would have been great to have a wider selection of amenities available. We also appreciated the sitting area in the room, which was a comfortable spot to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Outside of the room, the hotel's garden furniture and fire pits were a highlight for us. It was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the outdoor space, especially with the s'mores kits provided - such a fun bonus! The staff at the Zephyr were friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze, and we also received some great recommendations from the concierge. One thing worth mentioning is that the hotel is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us as we were traveling with our furry friend. we did encounter some challenges with accessing certain areas of the hotel with our dog, like the restaurant connecting to the Wharf. our stay at the Zephyr was good, with some room for improvement in terms of room maintenance and amenities. The hotel's unique industrial vibe and fantastic outdoor space made it a memorable stay, and we would consider returning in the future.

Staying here was an absolute delight, as it was only a short stroll to the bustling Pier 39 and the famous sea lions, with countless dining options and stunning bay views just a few steps away; we even enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores courtesy of the friendly staff, making our experience feel extra special. The room was clean, cozy, and decorated with charming marine features that added a personal touch, but parking was quite pricey and limited, which can be a hassle with cars.

Stunning bay views, particularly of Alcatraz. Ideal location near Pier 39. The room was immaculate, and I appreciated the thoughtful follow-up call from the staff. Their demeanor reflects strong management. The atmosphere was enjoyable, from the game room to courtyard s’mores; a great way to unwind. be wary of extra charges for bay views—they’re underwhelming. Noise from the street is disruptive. Limited amenities, like no room service, left us wanting more. Parking is expensive; plan ahead. had issues with billing that need prompt attention. The staff was friendly and helpful, but some operational flaws need rectifying. A mixed experience, with potential for improvement.

Had a blast exploring Pier 39 and nearby attractions, all within walking distance. Loved chilling by the firepits with free s'mores , a cute touch! The gym was well, equipped and safe to wander around , as a woman, felt secure at all times. Great access to downtown and the Golden Gate Bridge with nearby bus stops.

Parking costs an arm and a leg , outrageous prices! Water pressure in the room was a letdown, plus encountered some grumpy staff.

Location near Fisherman’s Wharf is fantastic. The dart board was a fun touch. Parking is pricey and elevators could use maintenance.

The outdoor fire pits with complimentary s'mores are a sweet touch! The decor mimics a ship at sea and the coffee bar keeps you fueled 24/7.

Internet passwords should just hang out in the room.

They had a blast playing pool, ping pong, and shufflepuck on skateboards, turned, chairs. Our family explored the area on a cool double decker bus tour, experiencing water adventures and life, size games like Connect Four and Jenga.

My children wanted more outdoor activities for families.

The game room was lit , we had epic battles on the pool table and shufflepuck! Plus, the outdoor courtyard was chill. We even did a double, decker bus tour!

Add more fun stuff like a rooftop party area for late, night hangouts.

stayed at Zephyr for 3 nights in a King Guest Quarter. the hotel and rooms are very funky. the location is fantastic and the diner out the back serves a great breakfast at a reasonable cost. the well-designed communal indoor and outdoor gaming and patio areas were a perfect way to enjoy time with friends. the staff was friendly and helpful when called upon.

It was all superb 😊

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the Aquarium of the Bay, and I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful on-site concierge who assisted with planning my activities. The eclectic outdoor lounge, "The Yard," was a unique and enjoyable place to relax.

No food and drink onsite.

The outdoor yard with games and fire pits was a blast. The staff made my rainy stay enjoyable. The vintage camper sold drinks by the fire pit.

Hidden charges for complimentary amenities were such a surprise, like a bad magician's trick.

We were pleasantly surprised when the staff provided a wheelchair for my sister, allowing her to join us on the Pier 38 and Fisherman's Wharf tour. The hotel's location was perfect, and the game room and garden area were a great find. I'll recommend this hotel

Stayed here with my family and loved the nautical-themed decor. The courtyard with outdoor games was a hit! Plus, location close to Pier 39 and cable car stop was super convenient.

The room setup was a bit cramped for a family of four. Some noise from neighbors and outdated structure were noticeable.

The location of this hotel is ideal for anyone wanting to be in direct touch with nature and explore Fisherman's Wharf. The comfortable beds and excellent concierge made our stay enjoyable. We loved the great food at Fire and Brew and Camper. The hotel's game area, both inside and outside, was a fantastic spot for kids and parents to relax and have fun. Everything was within walking distance or a short ride away.

Noisy guests in the hallway disrupted our sleep and the staff did not handle the situation satisfactorily.
